Signatures from the King David Hotel

2007 October 12

While in Jerusalem, we enjoyed sitting in the King David Hotel visiting friends and sipping cokes. Rich with history, the main hall of the hotel lobby has a pathway of signatures of famous people who have stayed there.

You will find a few of the signatures.

Danny Kaye was one of the world’s best-known comedians. Kaye was born in Brooklyn to Jewish immigrants from Ukraine. Kaye donated money to start a rehabilitation center for soldiers in Nahariya, Israel.

There were many more signatures like Jimmy Carter, Anwar Sadat, John Lennon, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Billy Graham, to name a few. I snapped a few quickly before we had to leave. I am sorry I didn’t more.

How cool! Never been to the Holy Land but have been told one comes away with a feeling of having “touched Jesus”. Very humbling, no doubt. Thanks for sharing the pics and a little of your visit.
Merry Christmas and Thank You, Jesus!
    In His Love.
